AIHealthTech.io (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws.

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

The data controller is AIHealthTech.io. Contact: contact@aihealthtech.io.

2. What we collect

  • Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter, join the community, or contact us.
  • Attribution data (UTM) — utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and the page you first landed on, so we understand how visitors find us. Stored first-touch in a cookie (cf_attrib, 30 days).
  • Consent records — which consents you gave (marketing, community), with a timestamp and source.
  • Usage data — aggregated, non-identifying statistics via Google Analytics 4, only after you accept cookies.
  • Messages — anything you send through our contact form.

3. Why we use it (Legal basis)

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — sending you marketing emails and community updates. You opt in explicitly via separate, unchecked checkboxes, and confirm via a double opt-in email.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — understanding traffic sources (attribution) and securing the site.
  • We do not sell your data or share it for third-party advertising.

4. Cookies & tracking

We use a cookie consent banner. Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) are blocked until you accept. Essential cookies (and the first-touch attribution cookie) are needed for the site to function and to honour your choices. You can withdraw consent any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.

5. Email & our processor

Newsletter and community emails are managed via FluentCRM, self-hosted on our own infrastructure. If we use an email-delivery provider (SMTP/API), it processes only what is needed to deliver mail.

6. Retention

  • Subscriber data: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Attribution cookie: 30 days.
  • Contact messages: up to 24 months.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete (“right to be forgotten”), restrict, or port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. To exercise any right, email contact@aihealthtech.io; you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children

The site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
